A new inspiring UNION is emerging in the symbolic and historic city of Alba Iulia, in the heart of the Carpathians in Romania, one of the reliable country for the future of a STRONG INNOVATIVE EUROPE! The local authorities, together with Romanian innovation professionals—from both Romania and the scientific diaspora decided to follow my proposal to launch and sign in Alba Iulia the First Territorial Charter for Open Collaborative Innovation (that I already innitiated and co-developed years ago in France and signed in the PACA region), aimed at “agilizing” processus and organizations and democratizing access to innovation processes to facilitate the creation of shared value (based also on my new tools and strategies for reducing and compensating “assymetries”, integrating the human factor in the innovation process, hybridising the Tech-Push and Market-Pull strategies by using the DRL (Demand Readiness Level) and DRL-TRL tools, etc).
A new dynamic of innovation thus began in June 2025 in Romania, in Alba Iulia, on the occasion of Alba Iulia Innovation Day, thanks also to my initiative and encourages as newly awarded ALBA IULIA ’s Honorary Citizen together with my friend and inspiring Dr. Eng. Cosmonaut Dorin Prunariu (both honored for our outstanding careers) as signing this First Territorial Charter for Open Collaborative Innovation in Romania together with wonderful local leaders : Mayor Gabriel Pleșa, President of the County Council Ion Dumitrel, Prefect of Alba County Nicolae Albu, Associate Professor Dr. Corina Rotaru, Associate Professor Dr. Eng. Cristina Feniser, University Professor Dr. Attila Tamas – Szora, University Professor Dr. Adrian Tulbure, University Professor Dr. Stelian Bran, etc, in the presence of their admirable teams and key figures in education and innovation in Romania.
My conference opened new collaboration opportunities and offered details on the new instruments and strategies for Hybridization of Tech-Push and Market-Pull appoaches in order to support highly collaborative processus enabling innovations and shared value creation.
